Online Internship Database
UNT PADM students have an exciting new resource for aiding your search in finding the perfect internship. The Public Administration Department is taping into the University Cooperative Education and Internships Office's online data base of internships. You will now be able to view all available internships on the internet and have the option of receiving email alerts when new internships are posted. You no longer have to cruise by the bulletin board every day to see what internships are available.
To be able to access the data base you must register with the Co-op office. There are four easy steps to complete your enrollment:
- Complete a student information sheet (can be obtained at Marquis Hall 208) & go to MyInterfase and follow the instructions (click the 'Register Here' button)
- Create and upload a draft of your resume. You can upload your MS Word resume to www.myinterfase.com/unt/student.
- Meet with Amy Holt to discuss what your internship interests are.
- Provide a copy of your unofficial transcript. Bring a copy of your unofficial transcript to the Internship & Co-op office, Marquis Hall, Room 209. Unofficial transcripts can be found through your "My UNT" account.
Remember, the types of internships are limitless. There are thousands of internships available to you and they are not all posted on this data-base. So if you are looking for a specific type of internship, especially with state, federal, or international, do not stop doing your own research to find the right internship. However, this will be a great resource in your search. You can do an internship that is not posted on this data-base, but you must ensure that it is approved by the Internship Coordinator before you start.
