Service Learning Hits the Streets

Students in Dr. Linda Holloway's Rehab Employment & Career Development were challenged to provide employment assistance to individuals with disabilities and/or chronic unemployment. Together, her class contributed to over 350 hours of service to the community. They worked with juvenile offenders, indviduals who were homeless, battered women, and students on campus. Within the project, they developed curriculum, conductd job search classes and provided information about community resources. Our thanks to Linda Holloway for getting PACS students out in our community! Pictured Left: student Tracie Owens at the Lewisville ISD Vendor Fair
